The goal of the Educational
Priorities Panel is to improve the quality of public education for New York City's children so that there is no longer a performance gap between city schools
and those in the rest of the state. EPP pursues this goal by seeking reforms of
federal, state, and city budget and administrative practices affecting
children. The organization has an emergency campaign against vouchers which
unites organizations across New York to protect and improve public schools.

Maryland
The Maryland Coaltion of Excellent Schools
The Maryland Coalition for Excellent Schools (MCES) was created through the efforts of the Maryland Association of Boards of Education, Maryland State Teachers Association, and Maryland Education Coalition. By working collaboratively, MCES member organizations seek to generate support for the policies and funding needed to raise the performance level of Maryland students, provide adequate school facilities, and improve teacher quality. To date, 16 organizations have joined the coalition.
Missouri
People for Public Schools is a statewide coalition of parents, teachers, community organizations, religious groups, and concerned citizens that promotes initiatives that improve public education and fights efforts to strip funding away from Missouri’s public schools.
